Between Friday March 15 and Friday March 22, Caesars Palace in Las Vegas gave away more than $900,000 in jackpot winnings.
That comes as the operator broke a jackpot record in the online casino space. Also last week, one Caesars Online Casino player in New Jersey won the biggest online jackpot in the operator’s history.
None of these recent wins approach the multimillions of the largest wins in Las Vegas history. But that’s hardly going to matter to the five winners. Each walked away with more than $100,000.
The Wins Begin
The hot streak at Caesars Palace started on Friday, March 15. In the late evening, one Caesars Rewards member was playing a Spin Poker machine for $450 a hand. That’s when they hit a triple Royal Flush for a total jackpot of $120,750.
Then, on Wednesday March 18, two big jackpots hit on the same day.
Early in the morning, one lucky player hit a $130,312 win on a Luxury Lines slot machine. Luxury Lines is a five reel, 25-payline slot by Aristocrat.
Just before 9 p.m. that day, a second player hit $169,125 playing a Dragon Link slot. That’s also developed by Australian-based slot maker Aristocrat.
The Streak Continues
The finale of this jackpot-winning run was the most eventful day of the three. On Friday, March 22, players hit no less than three massive jackpots on the Caesars Palace casino floor.
Just before 6 p.m. a player was playing Triple Double Bonus Poker, also by Aristocrat. Playing across two machines, each one hit a $400,000 jackpot within a minute of each other.
Caesars did not reveal how much the bettor wagered. But they did show a picture of the win screen in this social media post. From that, we can see the winning payout was for four aces and a low card.
Triple Double Bonus Poker’s pay table reveals that such a combo pays out 800x.
$200,000 divided by 800 gives us $250 a bet. The odds of triggering four aces twice in a minute are astronomically high.
Another player also hit a $100K jackpot on a video poker machine at Caesars Palace later that day. No image of the win or further details were provided.
Caesars Palace is operated by Caesars Entertainment. It is currently owned by the operator’s own spin-off real estate company, VICI Properties.
It opened in 1966 and has hosted hundreds of the world’s biggest entertainers since.
The biggest jackpot at Caesars Palace was in 1999. One player rang in the new millennium $21.34 million richer after playing just one $10 spin on a Megabucks machine.
