One lucky player this week hit Caesars Palace online casino’s largest jackpot since it opened in 2023.

Craig W, from Newfoundland, New Jersey, won $436,898 on Da Vinci DeluxeWays while playing on his mobile device.

Caesars reached out to Craig and invited him and a group of friends to a complimentary stay at Tropicana Atlantic City. That included a dinner at swanky Italian spot il Verdi and a ceremonial check presentation.

Caesars Entertainment launched Caesars Palace Online Casino in 2023. It can be accessed by players in New Jersey, like Craig, as well as legal age gamblers from Michigan, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.

“We take pride in creating unforgettable moments for our online casino players and guests who play with us,” said Matthew Sunderland, senior VP & chief iGaming officer at Caesars Digital, in a press release.

Jackpot Wins

Craig W. was at home in Newfoundland, playing Da Vinci DeluxeWays on his cell phone, when he won the game’s top prize.

Da Vinci DeluxeWays is developed by High 5 Games.

To win the top jackpot, Craig saw the entire screen fill with Diamond symbols on a multiplied spin. He walked away with $430K from his $4 bet.

“This can’t be real life,” Craig said, according to Caesars’ press release.

“You see and hear about people winning a jackpot. But I never thought it would happen to me.”

As well as his jackpot winnings, Craig also got a comped weekend at the Tropicana Atlantic City and a massive Caesars Palace jackpot cake.

The new winner also told Caesars he planned to spend his funds on a new car, paid in cash, as well treating his family and friends.

“Congratulations are in order for Craig and his exciting jackpot win that represents the biggest win we’ve seen so far on our new platform, Caesars Palace Online Casino,” Sunderland said.

“We’re glad we could host him and his friends at our world-class destinations in Atlantic City to make this historic jackpot win a little bit sweeter with Caesars Rewards experiences.”

$400K is, by anyone’s standards, a hefty win. However, online casino jackpots in the U.S. don’t yet stand up to their physical casino slots counterparts.

The biggest win in a Caesars Entertainment property, according to the operator, was in the late ’90s.

In June 1999, a 49-year old consultant from Illinois put $10 in a Megabucks machine at Caesars Palace Las Vegas. He won the $21.34 million jackpot on his very first spin.

The largest jackpot prize currently on offer in the U.S. online casino space is by BetMGM. The Big One progressive jackpot reached $4 million this month, with a $5 million cap.
