For the third time this season, the NFL is giving us a Monday Night Football doubleheader. The first game to kick off on the seventh Monday of the season is the Baltimore Ravens at Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Some 45 minutes after that game begins, the Los Angeles Chargers at Arizona Cardinals will kick off.
This is the last doubleheader on Monday night until Week 15, which will be the final Monday doubleheader of the season.
Baltimore Ravens (-3.5) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Ravens and Buccaneers are two of the highest-scoring teams in the NFL. Tampa Bay is averaging 29.7 points per game, which ranks third in the NFL. The Ravens are scoring 29.5 points per game, which is good for fourth in the league. Both teams come into Monday’s game with at least 30 points scored in their last three games.
Both the Ravens and Bucs have winning records against the spread. Baltimore is 3-2-1, only losing ATS in the first two weeks of the season. The Bucs are 4-2 against the spread, only failing to cover in their losses to the Denver Broncos and Atlanta Falcons.
Ravens at Bucs Proposition Bets
Opposing quarterbacks Baker Mayfield and Lamar Jackson are playing at the top of their games, and the over/under on player props reflect this. Mayfield has an over/under of 258.5 passing yards and a touchdown pass line of 1.5.
Jackson is at 231.5 passing yards and 51.5 rushing yards, and he has a touchdown pass over/under of 1.5. Jackson leads the NFL in quarterback rushing yards, and he is +135 to score a touchdown in the game.
Ravens running back Derrick Henry has scored in every week this season, and he is -210 to score again this week. He’s +450 to score the first touchdown of the game. Henry has gone over 100 yards in three of his last four games, and his over/under on Monday night is 85.5.
The Buccaneers use a running back by committee approach, and their top back, Rachaad White, has an over/under of 26.5. White is +195 to score a touchdown, and running back Bucky Irving is +105 to find the end zone. Irving has scored touchdowns in two of the last three weeks.
The best pass catcher in Baltimore is Zay Flowers. He’s at 62.5 receiving yards. Rashod Bateman has a line of 34.5, and tight end Mark Andrews is at 28.5. Flowers is +130 to score a touchdown.
The Bucs have Chris Godwin at 74.5 receiving yards, and Mike Evans at 56.5 receiving yards. Evans is +125 to score a touchdown and Godwin is +155.
Los Angeles Chargers (-1) at Arizona Cardinals
The second game on Monday features a Chargers team coming off a win at the Denver Broncos, and an up-and-down Cardinals team coming off a three-touchdown loss at the Green Bay Packers.
The Chargers are 3-2 and thinking playoffs, with much of the AFC struggling below .500. The Cardinals are 2-4 and a conundrum. They had impressive wins in the NFC West against the San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams, and they played well in losses against the Detroit Lions and Buffalo Bills. But they’ve also looked terrible in two other losses.
The Chargers are 3-2 against the spread and 2-1 ATS on the road. Arizona is 3-3 against the spread, but just 1-2 ATS at home.
Chargers at Cardinals Proposition Bets
Under Jim Harbaugh, the Chargers have become more of a running team, and the over/under on passing yards for quarterback Justin Herbert reflects the new reality in L.A. His line is 196.5, and he’s only gone over that total once this season. Herbert is paying +170 if he goes over 1.5 on passing touchdowns.
Kyler Murray has a passing yards line of 218.5, a total he’s gone over just once. He pays +135 if he goes over 1.5 passing touchdowns. Murray has a rushing yards over/under of 33.5, and he is +155 to score a touchdown. Herbert has odds of +425 to score a TD.
J.K. Dobbins leads the Chargers in rushing, and he is -120 to score a touchdown. His rushing yards line is 78.5. The Cardinals are led on the ground by James Conner, and his over/under on rushing yards is 62.5. Like Dobbins, Conner pays negative money on his touchdown prop at -110.
Chargers rookie Ladd McConkey leads the team in receiving and his over/under on receiving yards is 52.5. He’s only gone over that total once this season. Tight end Will Dissly has a receiving yards line of 25.5, which is right at the 26 yards he had last week against the Broncos. For the Cardinals, Marvin Harrison Jr.’s line is 54.5, tight end Trey McBride is at 51.5, and wide receiver Michael Wilson is at 30.5. Two weeks ago, Wilson had 78 yards against the 49ers.
As touchdown scorers, McConkey pays +210, Dissly is +400, Harrison is +175, McBride pays +240, and Wilson, who has touchdowns in two games this season, pays +280.
